As the Guild moves towards its 115th anniversary in 2026, it will continue the support that’s provided to the staff, patients and relatives at Barts. Through increasing the number of members, donations and legacies, in particular, the Guild is hoping to award even more grants each year.

And thanks to an increase in volunteer numbers, we are looking forward to the restoration of a 5-day-a-week trolley service to the wards, and hopefully providing a weekend service as well. As ever, the Guild Shop will remain serving the Barts community five days a week, Monday to Friday.

Once the Great Hall reopens in 2025, the Guild hopes to resume its calendar of events for members and guests, including our much-missed ‘A Celebration of Christmas’ evening of music and spoken word that took place in early December each year.
