While Christmas 2020 was a very different occasion for each of us, one thing remained the same as previous years – a contribution from the Guild to spread some festive cheer at the hospital.

This year, the gifts were presented to around 75 patients who attended the Radiography department for treatment on December 24th, and who were surprised and delighted by the unexpected gesture.

Although, sadly, the trolley service is currently suspended due to the pandemic, and we were therefore unable to distribute the presents in person, Barts staff helped to prepare the surprise.
