Barts hospital, its patients and staff were treated to an impressive air display on July 10th. Crowds gathered in the square to witness the spectacle of nearly 100 helicopters and planes flying overhead, the roar sending ripples through the fountain’s water.

Although it would be nice to think the display was put on for Barts alone, rumour has it the planes were en route to the Mall as part of the RAF centenary celebrations…
